Digital Resources

We have carefully selected the digital resources below to help you with your research assessments.  The websites are updated regularly, to ensure you have the most up to date information available.  Although we have made sure the websites are reliable, you should still get into the habit of applying the CRAAP test to evaluate websites.

Don't forget the library computers printer/ photocopier machine are available for you to use .  You will need to make sure you have printing money on your account before you can do any printing.  Please go to the reception office to purchase a printing voucher.

EPIC

EPIC is a fantastic resource which contains access to journal articles, magazine articles, podcasts and videos.  Access is free and the link below will take you straight to the database if you are using school computers.
If you use EPIC outside of school, the details for logging on are:

Please note that EPIC resources can be used for for personal use or educational purposes in connection with the educational activities of the school.

Google Newspaper Archive

Google Newspaper Archive provides you access to a range of newspaper articles from all over the world.  The search function allows you to find newspaper articles on specific subjects - for example, vaccinations, black civil rights, or recycling.

AnyQuestions / Uia Ngā Pātai

AnyQuestions and Uia Ngā Pātai are designed to help you find useful, accurate, online information for your homework.  AnyQuestions homework help is delivered in English, while Uia ngā Pātai is for school students who would prefer to chat in te reo Maori with fluent Maori staff.

Librarians from all over New Zealand are available each week day between 1pm and 6pm to help you search online.
